Simple and Convenient Autoclave Spore Testing Service Tattoo, piercing, dental and cosmetic studios conducting surgical procedures, all have a duty of care to their customers to ensure their instruments are sterilised. In the UK, legislation states that a regular chemical strip test is conducted to measure the performance of the autoclave. However, this strip only tells you that the autoclave has reached the desired temperature for the desired time. It does not guarantee that the organisms on your instruments have been killed. For best practise and certain association membership, many clinics and studios are also conducting a SPORE STRIP TEST. This involves placing a small vial containing a hard to kill organism within the autoclave. If the organism has been killed following autoclaving, you can be assured that your instruments are truly sterile. For £50, we offer a fully inclusive Spore Testing Service. This includes the Spore Vials, return postage, laboratory time, email results and a certificate to display in your premises. If you sign up for a monthly 6 month service, you will receive a monthly reminder and 20% off the price - £240 for 6 months.
