UKAS Calibration on Media Preparators In today's climate of strict traceability, calibration and validation of laboratory equipment is a vital component in this process. Calibration Procedure During a Media Preparator Calibration 2 type 'T' thermocouples will be attached to the media preparator, which have previously been calibrated using a UKAS calibrated precision reference thermometer on site. Any errors associated with the thermocouples will be calculated and subsequently removed from all results. The calibration will be conducted according to the UKAS accredited procedure detailed in our Quality Manual.
