IP1X testing

IP testing is used to ascertain whether an item can operate as intended when exposed to either dust, water or both. IP ratings are standardised ratings that confirm the degree of protection a product holds. IP testing is carried out in accordance with IEC/EN 60529 for which Cranage EMC and Safety is UKAS accredited. IP1X is used to show the item is protected against solid objects that are greater than 50mm in diameter
