X-Glucoside

Chromogenic substrate for β - glucosidase that on enzymatic action will form an indigo -blue precipitate. X-Glucosidase, which is used in microbiology culture media fin the identification of β - glucosidase positive organisms. It is also used in both histochemistry and biochemistry.
