It is prepared by us from high quality paraformaldehyde creating a stable yet highly reactive, cell-permeable fixative for reversible amine cross-linking of protein and nucleic acid tissue samples. It is suitable for both electron and light microscopy and easily penetrates large tissue blocks. It eliminates the step of depolymerisation of paraformaldehyde prior to use. When used in combination with glutaraldehyde, it fixes delicate tissues such as brain in vascular perfusion and It can be used in Karnovsky's fixative in conjunction with your own buffer system.
