JRI join the UK trade mission to China

22-06-2014

JRI Orthopaedics Ltd’s Managing Director Keith Jackson is today in China as part of the biggest trade mission to ever leave the UK. Keith Jackson is among 120 UK business leaders joining Prime Minister David Cameron on this landmark visit. The delegation also includes leaders from Rolls-Royce, GlaxoSmithKline and Jaguar Land Rover, but the majority come from smaller businesses. UK Exports to China have doubled since 2009 and China is now in the midst of the world's largest healthcare reform programme. Keith Jackson says "JRI is delighted to be part of this very important trade mission to China. JRI is committed to bringing its products to the Chinese market in the near future and is fortunate to have the support of the UK government."" JRI's Sales and Marketing Director, Howard Widdall, along with Purchasing Manager, Dennis Chung, visited China in November to co-incide with the 8th International Congress of the Chinese Orthopaedic Association. Before, during and after the Congress, Howard and Dennis met numerous Chinese companies. “Attending the Congress of the Chinese Orthopaedic Association was a great opportunity to meet with potential partners and start to build relationships, which ultimately can lead to the successful introduction of JRI products onto the Chinese market”, says Howard Widdall.
