06-12-2015

CNG gas trailers are providing Tanzanians with a virtual gas pipeline, supplying both residential and industrial sites with natural gas. Lee-Dickens Ltd has installed a Remote Control Monitoring System on CNG Filling Stations (known as Mother Stations) and Decanting Stations (known as Daughter Stations) at sites within the regions of Dar Es Salaam. The Sitewatchâ„¢ SCADA System monitors various gas pressures, temperatures and flows, automatically controlling valves that start and stop the filling and decanting processes. Other parameters monitored at site include Emergency Shutdown (ESD); Compressor Status (RUN/STOP/TRIPPED); Trailer Identification (ID) and Valve Position.
