University of Southern Denmark – Biological Engineering Student Meeting

Pentland Medical had the pleasure of hosting a business presentation for the rising talent of the University of Southern Denmark’s Bio-Engineering department. The meeting provided the opportunity for Stewart Munro, of Pentland Medical, to explain the business practices currently undertaken by our company, show some of the new technologies we are currently working with and answer questions from the students. We aimed to provide an insight into product development and distribution, from a global standpoint, and discuss the issues facing the industry today. Some of the issues included: Patenting intellectual property/product ideas, financial cut-backs within an industry that requires continual innovation, understanding the procurement process and the understated requirements to think globally in order to be successful in product creation and distribution.
